In accordance with Emergency Directive 052, each county school district, charter school, and private school in NV is required to adopt a COVID-19 mitigation plan. Guidance has been provided to each school district and organization by the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH) and the Nevada Department of Education (NDE) to implement layered prevention strategies to protect students, teachers, staff, and other members of their households, and to support in-person learning. These plans have been approved by DHHS, DPBH, and NDE for meeting the Directive requirement. Any questions on a specific mitigation plan should be sent directly to the applicable school.
